I love sharing the Buddha’s radical teachings and practices that empower us to live with wakefulness, compassion and wisdom in the midst of our messy, yet radiant lives. I am committed to “re-membering” and calling on qualities of the Sacred Feminine ~ variance of vision, inclusiveness, interdependence & deep reverence for all life, honoring inner authority, and embodied presence.
In June 2010, I completed a four-year teacher training program in Buddha-Dharma and Vipassana Meditation under the direction of Jack Kornfield and Phillip Moffitt at Spirit Rock Meditation Center and Joseph Goldstein, Carol Wilson, and Guy Armstrong at the Insight Meditation Society (IMS). I have taught residential retreats at Spirit Rock, IMS, Tara Mandala and Cloud Mountain Retreat Center and have been especially inspired by teaching relational mindfulness at the IMS Family Retreat and iBme Teen Retreats. I also visit sanghas in Tri-Cities and Walla Walla, WA and Carson City/Reno, Nevada when invited to share the dharma for a weekend.
In Spokane, I offer classes, daylongs, workshops, residential retreats, Experienced Practitioners Group (6 month commitment) and individual practice consultations. I look forward to finding new venues and formats for sharing the practices and teachings of mindfulness, loving-kindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity.
I volunteered at Airway Heights Corrections Center (men’s medium security) for five years teaching a weekly mindfulness meditation class through their Religious Activities Center.
