…the hero’s journey of self-discovery
Holotropic Breathwork™ is one of a long lineage of sacred technologies used by human beings for millennia to access non-ordinary states of consciousness. In pre-industrial cultures it was common that people gathered together for healing and spiritual communion. Some of these sacred technologies include prayer, meditation, fasting, Native America vision questing, Sun Dance, sweat lodge, Sufi dancing, Eastern practices of pranayama and yoga, and the use of psycho-active plants. These experiences supported the individual’s spiritual growth as well as supported the health and growth of the community.
Dori Langevin was certified in Holotropic Breathwork™ by Stan and Christina Grof in 1987 and has been conducting workshops since 1989. Holotropic Breathwork™ is most often offered in the group setting, although some people prefer private sessions, which can be arranged. Ted Langevin joins Dori in supporting participants during the group workshops. The workshop fee is $135 plus a potluck dish to share on Saturday. Each workshop will be limited to 8-10 people.
